Letter from Greg, December 6, 2026

Dear Guests, Members and Friends,

A special welcome to each of you! Thanks for being here. We trust you've come for a reason and more importantly, that if you came for a need known or unknown, that God has provided the resources in Spirit and Truth, in hope and promise, and in our people to help you realize why you're really here.

It's the second Sabbath of Advent! This week we'll also be engaged with Pentecost 2025, a North American Division evangelism initiative.  While Advent Sabbaths #2 and #3 will bookend our week of renewal, refreshing, and revival, we want to invite you to join us tomorrow (Sunday) through next Friday. I'll be teaching at 2:00 pm daily, and again at 7:00 pm in the evenings.

Our theme today is "Love," love as embodied in the person of Jesus, who taught us what it really means to human. That's my focus in teaching. That's what I hope we can take away - that which helps us understand who we are in light of Christ Jesus, who lived and died among us. It's his teachings and priorities we'll be focusing on.

If you wish to connect in some way with myself or our staff, please let me know. It's an intensen time, and if you would like to study the Bible with me or some of our elders, I hope you'll let us know. We're here to to help you as we're able!

My sermon title, Must Be Present to Win, hints at the bi-directional nature of faith. God must, in some way, be present to us. It's our opportunity to show up - because if we're to be in relationship with God, dedicated time to hearing the Spirits voice and learning of the one whose "Burden is easy and yoke is light" (Matthew 11:30)

Grace and Peace,

Pr. Greg
